INFORMATION

Dozens of school groups visit us annually, accompanied by their teachers, to enjoy the advantages that our academy offers Spanish learners, and to immerse as quickly as possible into the daily Spanish life.


To ensure this we arrange encounters with Trivium's Spanish students, which also take classes in our school to study English, German or French.

The accompanying teacher will receive all necessary support, at every moment during both the preparation and the stay, on our part.

Aimed at

  • Special stays for schools and university students as well as undergraduated teachers and other groups.

  • Those interested in preparing for the SIELE or DELE exams.

Course prices

Example of a one-week stay € 280,00/ student:

​

  • 4 daily teaching lessons from Monday to Friday (a total of 20 lessons). 1 lesson = 50 minutes.

  • Accommodation in Hostel with breakfast in double or triple rooms with bathroom or families with supplement (full board)*.

  • Single room accommodation with bathroom for the accompanying teacher.

  • Activities with one of our teachers are provided every afternoon.

  • Meeting with Spanish students of the academy or a visit to a high school.

  • Visit to the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art with Workshop.

  • Welcome folder and class material (grammar book).

  • Initial evaluation and personal assessment.

  • Right to final evaluation and certificate of attendance from the school.

  • Use of the leisure rooms (WIFI in the whole centre).

  • Use of the LIBRARY- VIDEO LIBRARY and loan service.

  • Contact person for optimal advising, available from arrival until departure at the end of your stay.  

  • The Academy also has a 24-hour contact phone number.

  • 1 week course + accommodation + afternoon activities: € 280.00/ student.

  • 2 weeks course + accommodation + afternoon activities: € 520.00/ student.

Levels and content

According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

  • Basic Level (A1-A2)

  • Intermediate Level (B1-B2)

  • Advanced Level (C1-C2)

Teaching faculty with degrees and experience.

Our Spanish lessons support students throughout the learning process. Our main goal is to ensure that all students take full advantage of their time in Cuenca to improve their Spanish skills.

  • Activie and varied teaching content: grammar, vocabulary and conversation, entertainment, current events and culture.

  • All contents can be individually adapted and are directed in extension and detail to the needs of each group.

  • We get in touch with teachers before the initiation of the course to agree on course content.

  • We also prepare students for highschool and different exams.

  • On the first day there will be a test (written and oral) to determine each students level.

  • On the last day of school there will be a test. Each participant will be awarded an attendance certificate and they will be graded if they wish.

Activities

  • All activities have an educational content and are linked to the study programs. Our team is qualified in the Spanish language and culture. They will guide and motivate you during the development of each extracurricular activity through workshops, games or tests, all to promote the learning of Spanish.

  • Extracurricular cultural, sports and recreational activities that are adapted to different ages.

  • Included: Gymkhana, walk with explanations through the old town of Cuenca, night of legends, movie afternoon, ascent to Cerro del Socorro, meeting with high school students.

  • Apart from the activities that we offer you in the centre, we can help you organize your own excursions according to your interests. In the centre we can inform you of the activities offered in the city and in the region.

Additional services

  • Weekend excursions to Madrid with accommodation from € 80.00/ student.

  • Weekend in Valencia with accommodation (2 nights), bike rental, Paella, transportation: € 250.00/ student.

  • € 30.00/ student: Price of a round-trip excursion to the mountains, including sporting activities (i.e. canyoning tour with expert guides).

  • € 19.00/ student: A typical meal like “Paella”.

  • Airport Transfer from € 430.00/ trip/ group, VAD included, in a medium coach bus.

  • Cuenca is connected with a high-speed train (AVE) to Madrid and Valencia. (The journey time is 50 mins. approx.). Minimum cost of € 25,00.

  • Coach trip to the mountains, up to 24 places available from € 350.00 (IVA included) / excursion.

  • Prices calculated for groups with a minimum of 14 students of the same level. 

  • If your group does not have 14 students, contact us to find out what the adjusted price will be.
