Museum of Arte Abstracto Español and Workshop

One of the most important collections of abstract art in the world, which can be found in the Cuenca's Hanging Houses and attached museum, belongs to the Juan March Foundation. After an explanatory tour organized by the museum, you can also gain practical knowledge in a museum workshop.

The museum's walking tour starts with Prehistory, and you can see pieces of ceramic and utensils found here in the province of Cuenca. You can also see works from the Roman period, discovered in cities like Segóbriga, Valeria, and Ercávica, as well as objects from other cultures.

San Julián fair

During Cuenca's San Julián Fair, celebrated in second half of August, the city teems with Spanish tourists who come to enjoy the attractions and the fresh nights of Cuenca's summer.
Tunnels and bunker
Free for groups (Level B1)
This is a way to get to know subterranean Cuenca. The Conquenses, in an effort to make more space, excavated a large portion of the rock under the city, converting it into a Gruyere cheese. The tunnels are also anti-air shelters and serve as underground connections between buildings. The tunnel tour is also a chance to learn a lot about the city's history and about Cuenca's aqueduct.
