Shared flats with other students
We offer two types of shared flats. The first is with Spanish students or a young Spanish couple, and the second is with Spanish students from our academy. The advantages of this type of accommodation are that the students can cook for themselves and that they are in contact with Spaniards; it is the quickest and most effective way to immerse into daily Spanish life. Students will be given an individual room within the flat, towels and sheets included. This type of accommodation is included in the price of the course. At Trivium, we personally know the people who offer to share their apartments.
For a supplement, you can choose to stay with a Spanish family. We personally know the majority of families because the parents or the children are studying or have studied here at the academy. Many families consider taking in a foreign student to be a good chance to have a cultural exchange and a reason to stay focused on studying other languages. The families with which our students stay always have children who are the same age as them, and only one of our students is sent to stay with each family.
Our apartments have 2 or 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. All apartments include towels, sheets, a washing machine, and kitchen and cleaning utensils. In general, the apartments fall into the category of "Tourist Accommodations", which means that they are continuously maintained at very high standards. We have apartments and flats available in both the "Old City" and new part of Cuenca. This type of accommodation is included in the price as long as the flat or apartment is shared with other students.
If you prefer to stay in a hostel, we can help you find the best offer. In Cuenca, there are a great variety of hotels and hostels in every part of the city.
For school groups, this option is included in the price.
Houses are suitable for groups of 6 to 10 students. They are located in the "Old City" of Cuenca and usually have 3 or 4 floors, divided into various individual, double, and triple rooms with either full or twin sized beds. All houses include towels, sheets, a washing machine, and kitchen and cleaning utensils.
